This area of Spain - as well as across the border into Portugal - offers fantastic experience for any golfer. The Huelva and Cadiz provinces of Spain boast thirteen courses between them, and there is also excellent golf to be had across into Portugal. Many courses are in the process of expansion and standards are very high.
The Monte Rei Jack Nicklaus designed Golf & Country Club featuring two championship courses has recently opened in Portugal and is easily accessible from Nuevo Portil as is the Quinta do Vale course in Castro Marim, designed by Severiano Ballesteros.
